Austin Blues Party got its start in 2007, and in its fourth year, continues to be a place where people can come and have a good time. We bring in the best instructors from around the nation and have some fantastic classes, but we never lose focus on the party. ABP shies away from competitions and performances because we want to have as much social dancing as possible! This is a place where you can meet your friends, hear some great music, and have some mind-blowing dances.

• Susan Shelton — Organizer with shady political connections...
• Philippe Wilson — Organizer with killer facial hair...
• Chris Mayer — Teacher Liaison and Volunteer Wrangler (and you thought cats were challenging...)
• Megan Repar — Imported from Houston, or Portland, or somewhere to deal with housing. Be kind.

Austin Blues Party is made possible each year by the Blues Association of Austin. BAA is also in charge of the Friday night weekly Blues dance in Austin, Kick Butt Blues.
